Our Story
About Us
Built by faith. Sustained by prayer. A place where your story is never over.
How It All Began
Founded on Faith
Life Cathedral Mission was founded on February 9, 2008. What began as a humble storefront service — built on prayer, sacrifice, and an unwavering conviction that God had called this ministry into existence — has grown into a thriving community of faith, family, and purpose.
Apostles Javier and Frances Stubbs helped officiate the opening services and were a part of the ministry's early beginnings. Shortly after the church was established, Rev. Prince Ogden and Gloria Ogden blessed the ministry with property. The congregation first worshiped in the smaller building on that property before growing into the larger sanctuary.
From that first storefront to today, the story of Life Cathedral Mission is a testament to what God can do with willing hearts and faithful hands.
Our Mission
Life Cathedral Mission exists to restore lives, build strong families, and help people discover their God-given purpose — through faith, prayer, and genuine community.
Faith that moves mountains
Prayer as a way of life
Restoration for the broken
Renewal for the weary
Second chances for everyone
Community built on purpose
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
— Galatians 6:9
Our Leadership
Apostle Dr. Corie S. Clements
Founder & Senior Pastor

Apostle Dr. Corie S. Clements is the founder and senior pastor of Life Cathedral Mission (LCM), a non-denominational church established on February 9, 2008. What began as a small storefront has grown into a thriving ministry with the current sanctuary located at 370 North Boulevard, Baxley, Georgia 31513. After just one month of opening, God provided a donated property, and the ministry has continued to grow by His grace and faithfulness.
Apostle Clements now oversees four churches — Baxley, Georgia; Fitzgerald, Georgia; Lumber City, Georgia; and Crossett, Arkansas — with a heart to see lives transformed, families restored, and communities reached through the power of the Gospel. Each location is led by a team of elders and a deacon, with quarterly and semi-annual gatherings for unity and vision.
"My Story Is Not Over."
He serves under the spiritual covering of Apostle Christine Sherman of Faith of Deliverance. Apostle Clements is a U.S. Army veteran with 14 years of service, where he led and mentored 14 soldiers. His military journey included deployments and assignments in Bosnia, Korea (Camp Garry Owen near the DMZ), Fort Polk, Louisiana, and Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Apostle Clements holds an Associate and Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, an Associate degree in Christian Studies, and has completed a two-year School of Ministry. He is currently pursuing a Master of Ministry at Andersonville Theological Seminary.
His life message is simple but powerful: "My Story Is Not Over." He believes in the power of renewal, revival, and revision — trusting God to turn every trial into a testimony.

What We Stand On
The Heart of This Ministry
Faith
We believe God is still working. Every step of this ministry has been built on trusting Him when the road was not yet clear.
Prayer
Prayer is not an event at Life Cathedral Mission — it is a lifestyle. We believe prayer changes things, people, and communities.
Restoration
No person is too broken. No story is too far gone. We exist to walk with people through the process of being restored.
Renewal
Renew. Revive. Revise. We believe God is always making things new — including you. There is always room to begin again.
Second Chances
We don't believe your past defines your future. Grace is real, and so is the possibility of starting over with purpose.
Family
Better Together is not just a phrase — it's a commitment. Life Cathedral Mission is a place where family is valued and built.
